About Speed & Associates CPAs

Grossberg, Butner and Speed, CPAs was formed in the year 2003 in Upland, CA – continuing the work of Bud Grossberg who had been in business for over fifteen years. GBS CPAs has been serving its surrounding communities well over 25 years. Since its inception the firm has lost two of its founders, hence now Speed and Associates, CPAs. The focus of the firm has not changed, and we continue to service our clients with a “hands on” approach.

Bryan Speed

Founding Partner, CPA

Bryan is a graduate of Azusa Pacific University receiving a B.S. in Accounting. Bryan passed his CPA examination in 1988. His first fifteen years was spent primarily on audited financial statements and corporate taxes for automotive dealerships. In the year 2003 Grossberg, Butner & Speed was formed, and he has spent the past twenty years working on reviews, compilations, and corporate taxes for construction companies. Bryan’s other specialties include-clergy tax law, non-profit organizations, accounting systems setups and training, and corporate and personal tax and financial planning.

Ariadne Flores

CPA

Ariadne graduated from USC in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She then followed her passion for accounting and took courses at UC Riverside. In 2013 she passed the CPA exam and began pursuing her career as an accountant. She has worked for CPA firms gaining experience and growing as a professional. During her free time she enjoys activities with her two children and has a talent for karaoke.

Eric graduated from California Lutheran University in 2019 where he received a B.S. in Accounting. Since graduating, Eric has worked different jobs ranging from construction to being an administrative accounting assistant but finally found his home at Speed & Associates CPA’s working as a staff accountant. He is currently a CPA candidate and hopes to receive his CPA license. During his free time, he likes to spend time with his friends and family and watch his favorite sports teams.
